Dundee Flood March 2009 In March of 2009 Dundee experienced it's worst flood since 1981. In 2000 the M-50 bridge was made 18 inches higher after the big flood of 1981.
A State of Emergency was declared by Village President Tod O'Lone and the M-50 bridge was closed. The Village, Michigan State Police and the Monroe County Sheriff's office began handing out sandbags to residents living on both sides of the river.
