Dundee Flood March 2009
In March of 2009 Dundee experienced it's worst flood since 1981.  In 2000 the M-50 bridge was made 18 inches higher after the big flood of 1981. 

A State of Emergency was declared by Village President Tod O'Lone and the M-50 bridge was closed.  The Village, Michigan State Police and the Monroe County Sheriff's office began handing out sandbags to residents living on both sides of the river. 

Many photographs of the area were taken including the photos below.  These photos were submitted by the Monroe County Sheriff's department as taken from the "Raptor" helicopter.
